Ní Chonchúir Urges Kingdom Support for Newbridge Double
Just weeks after a memorable double billing in Killarney, Kerry's Niamh Ní Chonchúir is calling on the county's travelling support to arrive early and get behind the women's team in today's crucial All-Ireland series clash against Kildare at Cedral St Conleth's Park.
Killarney Momentum Can Travel
Last month, Ní Chonchúir and her teammates delivered a commanding second half performance to secure a 1-16 to 0-8 victory over Cork in their Munster round-robin encounter at Fitzgerald Stadium. Later that same afternoon, the Kerry men's side also overcame Cork with eight points to spare in their provincial decider, giving the Kingdom a day of double celebration.
Before Jack O'Connor's side take on Kildare in this evening's knockout tie, the Kerry women will face the Lilywhites at St Conleth's Park, with throw-in at 3pm. Ní Chonchúir is hopeful that the county's loyal travelling fans will make the effort to arrive early and support both teams.
